A placement agreement (convention de stage, Praktikumsvereinbarung, accordo di tirocinio, acuerdo de prácticas) confirms that the placement is approved by you as a part of a student’s curriculum. It states the job description and dates of the placement and is signed by you, the undergraduate and the host business. The student remains enrolled in your institution for the whole duration of the placement.
We offer you an easy, secure and free way to internationalisation! Your students will not only gain valuable work experience but enhance their English language skills and learn about the British culture.
All companies offering placements through us know what an undergraduate placement means. The student that undertakes the placement can be sure that his qualifications match the company’s requirements.
Make sure your students know we are here to help them by advising them to visit our web site and placing the offers on notice boards and intranet sites.
All placements are open to any EU undergraduate, or graduate studying for a further degree, with a valid EU passport. Non-EU citizens studying in a EU institution can apply only if their student visa permits them to undertake a placement or internship in the UK as part of studies.
The home institution must cover the undergraduate with a placement agreement for the whole duration of the placement.
The Placement UK Newsletter is a regular email sent out to all academic institutions that have registered with us. The Newsletter highlights new placement opportunities now available, full details of the opportunities can be found on the opportunities section on our website.
Remember, students will not be reading your email: make the placements available for them by placing the opportunities on notice boards and intranet sites.
Privacy notice: The service is free and you can unsubscribe anytime. Contact details will be used only to communicate about our placements. We will not give information to any third party for any purpose.
