Like most recruitment companies, we work on a results-only basis: we only charge a fee for a successful appointment.

Unlike most placement agencies, our service is provided FREE to students. We feel this is only right. Many of our competitors do it the other way round - they offer the employer a free service, and then charge the students, who can least afford it. Students are offering their services at rates substantially below what they are really worth because they want to get experience to kick-start their careers. We feel its not fair to charge them for this.

And if we were to charge the student, we risk just attracting the well-off (but desperate?) ones. Is that who you want working for you?

No, of course not. You want highly motivated students with the resourcefullness and determination to jump a few fences to get to work for you. Right?

So we provide a high quality and very intensive service that matches employers and undergraduates very well. We use 'people' to do this (not computers). I know this sounds a little old fashioned, but we like it that way, and most importantly, it works really well. But of course it costs money to deliver such a service.

But think of what you get. Real human beings, dealing person to person with you and your candidates to make that perfect match. We talk to you to find out exactly what you want. We advertise the vacancy to students and require them to make a specific application (we don't just fish them out of a database and hope they are interested). And we personally interview all candidates to sort the wheat from the chaff and find the perfect person for YOU. We manage the whole process and make it very easy for you. And because we have such extensive contacts and have been around for over 10 years, we tap into the quantity AND the quality required to fill just about any position.

OK, enough justification. What does is cost?

We charge £165 per month that the student is with you. Simple as that.

We hope you will agree its solid value for money. But if you don't, please call us and make us explain it a bit better.

Commitment Deposit
There is an initial commitment deposit equivalent to 2 months payments (£330). This covers the final 2 months of the placement, and is refundable in the event that we fail to find suitable candidates.

Instalment Plan
Initial deposit £330 payable in advance.
We then offer an instalment plan as follows:
First month's instalment of £165 payable on commencement of placement.
Second & subsequent instalments of £165 payable in advance on 1st of each month.
The deposit covers the last 2 months of the placement.
Instalment plan is subject to status.

Permanent Employment
In the event that a placement student, recruited through Placement UK, takes a permanent post with the placement provider at the end of the placement or within 12 months thereafter, a recruitment fee equivalent to 7.5% of first year salary will be payable to Placement UK.

We reserve the right to alter our price structure. Existing clients will be advised of any alteration at least 3 months before implementation.
